1, Mansingh Road, New Delhi

Grand is the word that came to my mind as the kids and I walked into the bustling lobby at this hotel – marble, intricately carved domes, inlay work and its iconic red wall screamed that this city was once ruled by the Mughal dynasty. The kids loved their traditional welcome with garlands and rose petals, but not as much as the edible Minions and Avengers waiting for them in their rooms. I was thrilled to be resting, almost a stones throw away from the Presidential Palace. Celebrities, heads of states and families throng to this grand old dame of Delhi and it’s easy to see why….
