Jalan Taman Ganesha No. 9 Petitenget, Bali, Indonesia

When you grab the last empty beachfront location in Seminyak and share a common wall with none other than the ‘it’ place to be in Bali – Potato Head beach club (just in case you were wondering) – more than just my head is going to turn. Throw in a restaurant churning out the best breakfast I’ve had in Bali and a kids’ club my tinies loved and it’s no surprise that this spanking new family-friendly hotel is making waves.

Family Favourites:
  1. Child DVDs for rental.
  2. Beachfront resort promising sun, sand and splashing.
  3. Location! This resort enjoys a prime spot on the beachfront in Seminyak, sharing a common boundary with none other than Potato Head, Bali’s hippest beach club. Iconic beach club Ku De Ta is not too far either. Seminyak’s famous boutiques, cafes and restaurants are close by. Local taxis are readily (and very cheaply) available.
  4. Elaborate menu for kids including one for little babies too.
  5. Multiple swimming pools covering the entire property.
  6. The kids’ club (7 am-9 pm) is stocked with toys, games, puzzles, books and art and craft supplies to keep kids engaged. Elevated wooden platforms to run around in, a slide and a delightful rocking horse add to the fun.
For the older lot, the room comes with televisions, computers, Xbox and other gaming consoles. This supervised space is overseen by staff that hosts hourly kid-friendly activities that include treasure hunts, puppet making, bowling, food painting, story telling, kite making and more.
  7. Food! Any hotel that gives me flax seed toast, almond butter, quinoa porridge, mashed avocado on grilled sour dough bread and raw zucchini pad Thai for breakfast has me hooked for life! The food at this hotel was fantastic, both in terms of taste, quality ingredients and variety. The breakfast, however, completely stole the show with its healthy yet delicious offerings.
